Verónica González Mireles, Ph.D.
Analytical Scientist
With a Ph.D. in Immunology from the National School of Biological Sciences at the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN), Mexico, her work has focused on chronic diseases and relevant immune interaction, as well as standardizing protocols for spectral flow cytometry and immunofluorescence.
She is currently part of the Analytical lab at Immunocine in Cancún, specializing in the immunophenotyping of cellular populations in the context of immunotherapies, with particular focus on T cell activation and dendritic cell maturation.
She has over three years of experience in both conventional and spectral flow cytometry, primarily studying T cell phenotypes in autoimmune diseases and exploring peptide-based therapies to modulate autoinflammatory responses.
She believes science should be rigorous but never boring — and that knowledge is best when shared clearly and passionately.
