Gary’s Incredible Journey from Stage 4 Prostate Cancer to Recovery
With no symptoms, no pain, and no warning signs, Gary never expected anything was wrong. At 60, he was active, healthy, and preparing for a trip to Canada when he says he felt a conviction to get his bloodwork checked — a moment that would change the course of his life. A biopsy and scans soon confirmed the diagnosis: Stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer to the bone.
What followed was shock, fear, and what Gary describes as some of the darkest days of his life.
“There’s probably not a person that loves life as much as I do.” — Gary
Losing Hope in the Traditional Path
When Gary met with his standard-of-care oncology team, he expected a plan — something proactive, strategic, and hopeful. Instead, he left feeling dismissed and defeated. The recommendation focused on drugs to manage progression, not a path toward recovery.
“They were going to pat me on the back of the head and send me home.” — Gary
That moment became the turning point. Gary began searching relentlessly, changing his diet, exploring metabolic approaches, and looking for options that aligned with healing, not surrender.

Finding Immunocine
Through his naturopath, Gary heard about another patient who had gone through the Immunocine Dendritic Cell Treatment (IDCT) in Mexico. His first call with the Immunocine team shifted everything, especially his conversation with Nicole, whose compassion and clarity made him feel seen, understood, and supported.
Traveling to the clinic brought a mix of excitement and nerves. But from the moment he arrived, Gary experienced something he had not seen in conventional medicine: time, attention, explanation, care, and a team that wanted to fight with him, not just treat him.
Treatment, Change, and a Turning Point
Gary received his personalized dendritic cell injections over multiple visits. The first round left him exhausted, but also convinced that something real was happening inside his body. Each treatment became easier, and with it, he began to feel internal shifts he couldn’t ignore.
Then the results came. Back home, his blood markers began to improve — including white blood cell activity — showing his immune system was responding and recovering.
Soon after, Gary was back in Canada doing what he loved — spending long days outdoors, swinging a 16-pound sledgehammer while building a cabin on the water.
“I got to have my freedom of life back again.” — Gary

A Renewed Life — and a Message for Others
Today, Gary is working, building, and living — not just surviving. He has shared his story with friends, family, and even other cancer patients across the country, including his own sister. His voice now carries a message he once desperately needed to hear:
“There’s hope, where there was no hope. Don’t hesitate to ask questions. It’s a changer.” — Gary
